PARC would like to extend its graditude to Mackinaw Valley Vineyard for letting our organization partake on its July 17 festivities with Jammsammich. Everyone that volunteered to operate the beer truck had a great time listening to the local coverband while serving drinks to the crowd. All tips collected were donated directly to PARC.

On July 6 and 8, PARC teamed up with Fired Up, an art and pottery studio in Peoria Heights. For the third year in a row, PARC Participants brought their artisitic skills to the studio and creatively painted piggy banks. For the last two PARC Benefit Auctions, the pigs have been a highlight at the event.

Members of AmeriCorps volunteered alongside PARC staff and Participants to landscape the picnic area outside of the greenhouse. It was a hot and sunny day out which made it the perfect opportunity to plant trees, flowerbeds, bushes, and lay mulch.

PARC's Early Intervention Program has found a new home! For the past year, PARC has held its Early Intervention program at the Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association. Well, it's summer, which means it't time for HISRA's Summer Camps! So for the summer, Early Intervention is being held at PARC's Townline Rd Facility. Thank you HISRA for your continued support of PARC!

The 17th Annual “PARC’s In Bloom Style Show,” sponsored by the Pilot Club of Peoria, was yet another success. The event was held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at The Grand Hotel and Conference Center in Peoria. Doors opened at 11:00 AM and the luncheon began at 11:30 AM. Models from PARC, the Pilot Club, and Notre Dame High School helped show off local retail stores' fashions.

PARC would like to thank the generous staff, volunteers, guests, and sponsors for making The Singing Chef Event a success. It took a lot of hard work and dedication, but PARC was host to a sold out show!
