2009 PARC 'N' Play Grand Cruise-In
When: Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Where: Please note the location for the event has changed!
The event has been moved from the Wal-Mart Supercenter at Allen Road and Townline Road (Exit #5 Illinois Route 6) in Peoria to The Shoppes at Grand Prairie in the parking lot between Bergner’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
What:There will be food and fun for all ages with live musical entertainment, children's games, door prizes, 50/50 drawing, raffles and much more.
All proceeds go to support PARC's mission to provide lifelong, person-centered programs and services to individuals with developmental disabilities so they can fully participate in life with dignity and respect.
Admission is free to the public.
Cost is $10 per vehicle (automobile or motorcycle) to enter into the cruise-in competition. Trophies will be awarded in several categories.
Entertainment:
Coupe De Ville will perform hits from the 50's and 60's from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Hippie Radio will do a live remote broadcast from the event.
Other entertainment includes: Rod Stewart Tribute by Steve Bobbit, The Blues' Brother's Tribute Band, and Blues' Brothers' Jr.
There will also be a best dressed contest and a dance contest.
