Vocational Services
PARC Participates...
in the community, in the workforce, in self-sufficiency
Individuals in the Vocational Services (VS) program have the opportunity to participate in vocational tasks and activities, a variety of clubs, classes, and educational activities. A typical day might include occupational therapy, class at the Peoria Ballet facility, or horticulture lessons with a member of the Peoria Master Gardeners Club. Opportunities to receive vocational training and paid work are offered through the Transitional Employment Services Program (TES). Because these services are personalized, participation in work does not preclude leisure or educational activities. Our goal is to continue to strengthen and enhance the programs we offer to provide training and educational opportunities that meet our participants varied and changing needs. We strive to develop and implement truly person-centered plans in order to better support each individual.
