Community Employment Services assists job seekers by assessing abilities and then providing the supports required to improve work and social skills. The support continues following initial employment, with ongoing coaching in order to maintain skill levels, good co-worker relationships, and communication with the employer.
This interaction greatly increases job retention levels. Some of our community employees have been on the same job for 15 years or more! Many of the 40 plus individuals PARC Employment Services supports in competitive community employment received the training they needed while performing sub-contract in Transitional Employment Services or PARC Works prior to placement.
